Welcome to GIG BRAZIL’S website.

We are New York City’s only Brazilian Rock band, bringing you the best of “Rock Brasil” of the 80’s and early 90’s.

We started out like many other bands: just getting together to jam and to have a good time, playing the songs we grew up listening to in our home country. Many friends would come to see us and encouraged us to leave the studio and perform to a larger audience.

Ever since our debut in August 2007, we’ve been bringing together  not only Brazilians but people from other nationalities and Brazil lovers to enjoy songs from artists such as Paralamas do Sucesso, Barão Vermelho, Ultraje, Titãs, Legião Urbana and many others.
